The start of the 2026–2027 school year is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our Hornets back!
Hornet Registration is the official kickoff to a new school year and an important step in helping every student begin the year prepared, confident, and ready for success.
We strongly encourage all students and families to attend. By taking care of these important back-to-school tasks before the first day, students can focus on what matters most—meeting their teachers, reconnecting with friends, and starting the year ready to learn.

Begin at the Community Recreation Center (CRC)
Our staff members and student leaders will be available throughout the evening to welcome families and guide you through each registration station, making the process simple, efficient, and enjoyable.
Complete Your Back-to-School Checklist
During Hornet Registration, students can:
· Complete registration paperwork
· Pick up a Chromebook (if needed)
· Pay outstanding dues and fines
· Have their school picture taken for their student ID
· Purchase parking permits and athletic passes
· Order a yearbook
· Receive class schedules and bus route information
· Meet with RAHS representatives and the school nurse, if needed
· Enjoy a complimentary dinner in the KHS Cafeteria after completing your Back-to-School Checklist
What to Expect
Start: Community Recreation Center (CRC)
Complete: Your Back-to-School Checklist and have your school picture taken.
Receive: Your 2026–2027 class schedule and bus route information.
Explore: Tour Kearsley High School with student guides and become familiar with the building before the first day.
Connect: Visit the Media Center to meet representatives from our clubs, student organizations, and athletic teams, pick up Kearsley spirit wear, and discover the many opportunities to get involved.
Celebrate: Finish your evening in the KHS Cafeteria with complimentary dinner, refreshments, giveaways, and Kearsley swag.

Hornet Registration is more than preparing for the first day of school, it’s the first step toward a successful year. We want every student to arrive on Day One ready to learn, ready to lead, and ready to be a Hornet. Together, we’ll help our students build the knowledge, skills, and character reflected in our Profile of a Graduate while creating a great start to the school year.
