Kearsley Community Schools

Dowdall Elementary School's Public Service Announcers presented their work at this month's Kearsley Community Schools Board of Education meeting.

3rd grade students from Dowdall Elementary applied to become Public Service Announcers. Supported by counselor Holli Taylor, the students worked in groups to explore the meaning of key character words, including: Responsible, Respect, Friendship, Generosity, Leadership, and Kindness.

They wrote examples of how they and their classmates can demonstrate the character words. The Public Service Announcers shared their work with their peers daily through afternoon announcements.
