Spring Break March 27-31

Time to relax & recharge! Kearsley School's Spring Break is next week, March 27 through 31. 

This is a great opportunity to explore our community and participate in activities presented by our community partners.

Morning Stories | Tuesday & Thursday 11:00-11:45 am  - Listen to a story, look at art and create an artwork of your own. Different stories each day. Recommended for ages 3 to 5, but all are welcome. 

 Afternoon Studio | Monday - Friday 1:00-4:00 pm  -  Drop in between 1pm and 4pm to make your own art. Different projects each day. Recommended for ages 5 to 10, but all are welcome. 

Programs are designed for the ages specified. Parents and caregivers arewelcome.  Sponsored by the Nartel Family Foundation

STEM Week, March 28-31 from  11:00 am – 3:00 pm - Schools may be out for Spring Break but you can come to the Flint Children’s Museum and enjoy STEM week.


Tuesday and Wednesday, the theme is “Make it Move” - Use different materials to help make your Hot Wheels car move faster.

Thursday and Friday, the theme is “Wind Wonders” - Create a maze and use wind power to make the ping-pong balls travel through it.

The Visitor’s Center at For-Mar offers an interactive opportunity to learn about the animals in and around our region. They also have try it for free walking sticks and discovery backpacks to use while exploring the nature preserve.

3-Day Camps will take place March 27 - 29, 2023, Monday through Wednesday, at Sloan Museum of Discovery. Kids will be engaged in reading and STEM exploration through fun, skill-building challenges.
Admission: Fee to participate, registration required.

SBEV offers free year-round programming to youth ages 5-17 in the Flint, MI area. Our programs in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts are taught by local professionals who dedicate their time to reinvesting their skills and knowledge and giving back to the young people.

Flint Spring Break Athletics: Volleyball, 4-8 grades & Basketball, 3-8 grades
