1:1 Devices
Kearsley Community Schools believes that technology resources are a tremendous source of information that provides countless opportunities for students and staff in the District. Annual technology expenditures are appropriated district-wide to enhance student learning. The 1:1 initiative for students creates an enriched, collaborative learning environment. The purpose of this initiative is to continue our implementation of rigorous, relevant learning, while providing students with constant access to the latest educational resources.
Grades K-8
Students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade will be issued a device and it will be kept on a cart in their classroom at school.
Grades 9-12
Kearsley students, Grades 9-12, are provided with school-issued Chromebooks and chargers to assist their educational needs during the school day and to extend their educational experience at home.
Students and parents must read and agree to all policies and procedures for use, care and maintenance of the device and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy as part of the annual online registration process. This policy may be found in the Parent and Student Handbook.
