February Hornet Award: Ronda LeBrasseur

The HORNET AWARD was presented to Ronda LeBrasseur, Weston Elementary Clerk, at the February 13 Kearsley Community Schools Board of Education meeting.

Excerpt from her nomination:

Over the last few years, Weston Elementary has undergone numerous staff changes. However, one essential element that has remained the same for over thirty years has been our school’s office clerk, Ronda LeBrasseur. Throughout our building’s changes, Ronda LeBrasseur has been there to welcome each new staff member with a warm smile and kind demeanor. She has gone above and beyond the scope of her duties to help new staff members acclimate to the building through her love, guidance, and support. In addition to supporting staff, the students LOVE Ronda LeBrasseur. Whether she is helping a student navigate after-school plans or assisting with a student ailment, Ronda LeBrasseur approaches each duty with a loving touch. The students know Ronda LeBrasseur cares deeply about their well-being. They know she is an adult they can trust.
