A New Era in KHS Production

At some point in your high school career you have definitely been in the Kearsley Auditorium. Whether it be for Drama Club, Honors Convocation, or simply meetings with Wiskur, every student in the halls of KHS has been in the auditorium. While sometimes, the production needs are low and less noticeable, the Tech Crew still works behind the scenes to make sure the event runs smoothly. Throughout the past few years, while the Tech Crew has gone through more updating, it has become strikingly apparent that the average viewer has no clue what it’s like up there, and it’s hard to blame them. Theatrical Takeover: What's Next for the KHS Drama Club?

As the curtain closes on this school year, the next is already being prepared. Off the coattails of this year’s Drama Club success, Don’t be Afraid of the Dark and Cinderella: The Musical, the Drama Club prepares to wow audiences once more with a new season. Mrs. Schroeder, a new addition to the club as of 2023, announced the upcoming shows this spring at the Choir Pops Concert. She announced that this upcoming season (2025-2026) the Drama Club will be performing Radium Girls as the fall play and The Wizard of Oz as the spring musical. Read more...
