Dear Dowdall Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to inform you of an important update regarding our upcoming Open House for 2nd and 3rd grades on August 21, 2025.
Due to ongoing construction inside the building, we will be moving both Open House sessions outside for everyone's safety and comfort.
Open House Details:
● 2nd Grade: 4:00 – 5:00 PM (Outside)
● 3rd Grade: 5:30 – 6:30 PM (Outside)
Tables will be set up at the basketball court area for families to pick-up informational packets. The transportation department will be available to answer any busing questions and we’ll have clear signage and staff available to help guide you upon arrival.
I cannot guarantee that all of Dowdall teachers will be available to meet on the 21st but we are going to host special “Meet the Teacher” events the first week of September. At this time you will be able to come in and along with meeting your child’s teacher see all the many improvements that have been made. This includes a new office space, new gymnasium, all new flooring and updated classrooms.
Meet the Teacher Details:
● 2nd Grade: Wednesday, September 3; 4:00 – 5:00 PM
● 3rd Grade: Thursday, September 4; 4:00-5:00 PM
