2026 Grand Marshals Walworths

Corrine and Kevin Walworth have been married for 30 years and are the proud parents of Devan, Kyla, Kaden and Kamden.

A 1985 KHS graduate, Kevin was born and raised in the Kearsley community. After earning his degree from the University of Michigan-Flint, he returned to Kearsley High School in 1988 as a mathematics and computer science teacher. He also coached baseball, boys and girls basketball and track and field.  Kevin began his administrative career in 1998 as KHS assistant principal. He served as principal from 2004 to 2012 before moving to assistant superintendent for the district from 2012 until 2018.  He became Superintendent in 2021, where he served until his retirement in July 2021, after successfully leading our district through the incredibly challenging pandemic years.

Corrine joined the staff of KHS in 1991 as a mathematics and social science teacher. In 1999, she transitioned to the role of high school counselor, and in 2003, she became chair of the Kearsley K-12 Counseling Department. She also served a term as the President of the Genesee Area Counseling Association.  Corrine continued serving Kearsley students and families in that role until her retirement in July 2021.

Although retired from Kearsley, both Corrine and Kevin continue to serve education and our community. Corrine was the Genesee County Career and College Access Network (GCCCAN) Coordinator, where she promoted college and career access for students throughout the region. Kevin returned to school leadership, serving as interim assistant superintendent for Kearsley Community Schools in 2022 and interim superintendent for Lakeville Schools throughout the 25-26 school year.

These days, the Walworths enjoy spending time on the lake up north and, most importantly, spending time with their children and grandchildren. With decades of combined service to Kearsley, Corrine and Kevin have left a lasting legacy in our community.
