Schedule of Operations
The Pumpkin Patch Early Childhood Education Center is open 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays except for major holidays (Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day and Independence Day)
In Session
Preschool is in session on the following days regardless of the Kearsley schedule:
In-service days
Parent-teacher conference days
Mid-winter breaks
Records days
Snow days
During inclement weather, preschool programs will close if the Kearsley Schools close. However, the Pumpkin Patch may provide daycare for those who need it.
IMPORTANT: If there is a state of emergency or a power outage, the Pumpkin Patch will not be open for daycare or preschool.

Drop Off and Pick Up Policy
Emergency Cards
Children will be released only to those persons whose names are listed on the emergency card. Parents are to advise the office in writing in advance if a person not listed on the emergency card is to pick up the child.
Drop Off/Sign-In Sheets
All children, including Latchkey children, must be brought into the building and signed in with the classroom teacher DAILY BY AN ADULT. We need to know for safety reasons where your children are at all times. Children may not be dropped off in the parking lot.
5:30-9:00 A.M. DROP OFF: All children dropped off between the hours of 5:30 and 9:00 a.m. must be signed in and released to a classroom teacher. Children may not be dropped off in the parking lot. If children arrive at the building before 6:30 a.m., they will be laid back down to rest until 8 a.m.
Sign-Out Sheets for AM Pickup, Lunchtime Pickup and PM Programs and Playground Pickup
Parents/designee must sign their child in and out every day with documented times.
